I am an attorney and IT professional. In the law, my areas of interest include Internet and technology law (particularly cybercrime and torts) and consumer protection. In IT, I am primarily a security-conscious Linux/BSD system administrator and PHP/Perl developer.

I work as a system administrator at Brooklyn Law School, and also own and operate a small Internet service provider, Sandwich.Net, LLC, which I started in 1997.

My other interests include linguistics (which was my undergraduate major at UC San Diego), Japanese animation, and new urbanism.
